Duration: Once per week for 4 weeks. Limited to only 8 participants.
At our studio - 5 Boneyards Avenue Torquay.
This 4 week class will introduce you to the wonders of making with clay. It is an easy entry level class where you will learn basic skills of coiling, pinch pots, slab building and glazing.
The beautiful light filled studio is located in the convenient Torquay Industrial estate and is fully equipped with brand new quality Venco equipment.
Over the 4 weeks we will teach you about clay and its properties in a fun class without any pressure.
You are welcome to bring wine if you so feel! 
In the last class you will choose your own glaze and decorate your work ready to fire and then take home a few weeks later (or we can post to you for an extra charge)
These basics are the basics of all hand building.

You will also have exclusive students only access of the studio to practice and continue your journey (at additional cost- $20 per hour/ $30 for 2 hours /$50 unlimited). Also have the option to hire wheels to take home and practice your new skills! There is also a past student weekly drop in night you are invited to join.
As the class is consecutive and you build on your skills each week, it is essential you make sure you are able to make each week. We are unable to accommodate changes due to the number of wheels and also the flow of the course.
